Good food, good service considering how busy it gets.

An awesome little roadside stop serving some good food with a smile. The staff were friendly and clean and the food made me think of the days I'd go out for grub with my dad as a kid.

We were glad to have found this little gem on our road trip. The food was tasty, including a couple of vegetarian options. The staff was friendly and the establishment was nicely kept. Would recommend :)

Pretty bad with wobbly chairs and mosquitoes buzzing around the dining room. The staff were friendly and attentive enough though.

A nice stop along the way. Good food at good prices. Chef forgot to put my dinner in at the same time as my friends so we ate separately but they gave us free drinks to make up for it. Would eat there again.(This reviewer starts at 3 stars and goes up or down accordingly.)

ordered a burger and beer among other things while passing by just to relax a bit before going on my way. they also have pizza which I think ill get next time.

Fast service and breakfast was great. We were in and out in 40 minutes.

Had to come out for work for a couple weeks. Burgers: good. Sandwiches: good. Soup: good. Everything was consistently fresh, hot, and tasty, and I never had a bad meal. If you’re passing through the area and want some no frills good food at a reasonable price then this is a good stop.

Aweful service! Called ahead at 8pm to ask if they were open for take out and if they had a menu online to look at women on the phone was very rude. They didn't have a online menu which was no problem told her I would drive over and just order take out there and 10 mins later when I got there she said they were closed and was very rude about it. Ridiculous.

I ordered a burger and beer and it was a great choice to stop at. The burger was nice and juicy and didn't disappoint. Great place to stop for a quick bite.

Very good pizza: the Blue River Special! Friendly service, good athmosfere. Would go there again when we are in BC again.

pretty good food for a roadside restaurant. often the only place open for 200 km at 9pm at night. while there's more selection north in valemount, this restaurant holds it own.

Ate twice here this summer, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Service was rude or just non existent. Coffee tasted burnt, fries tasted like freezer burnt McCain, otherwise the food was mediocre. Even the A & W in Valemount would be a better choice. Should be zero stars but at least I didn't get food poisoning.

The fastest, most perfectly cooked food I've ever had in my life. I had breakfast and lunch there several days in a row and was never disappointed.

We ate here because there isn't much competition in blue river. But we were positively suprised!We ordered fish&chips and a burger and both meals were really good. Compared to Vancouver and Whistler were we stayed before the prices were really good.

This place is pretty run down. Staff here are indifferent and couldn’t care less. My recommendation is to drive up the street and eat at the Saddle Mountain restaurant if they are open; the people and the food there are much nicer, but they don’t do take out.

Stopped here in the middle of long road trip. It is hard to find a good spot to stop between Valmont and Kamloops - this place is it. The food is mostly typical Diner fare. It was great and well priced. They have options for kids, which is awesome. The staff was very friendly and service was great. It is well worth stopping for.

Good experience here this weekend, while on a road trip to Edmonton. Blue River is a small town of about 200 people, so our food options were limited. However, dinner was so good, we came back for a late night snack. Everything was made fresh in house which was really cool. No complaints.

The two stars are for the food and that's it. We were not asked if we wanted a drink, the man rushed my 4 yearold son when he was deciding between soup or fries with his grill cheese sandwich. Then he niglected to even order the grill cheese and gave me attitude about it when I pointed it out. Customer service gets a hard zero, food was good. But I will not be stopping here again. Thanks for making a long trip a lot longer .

Great spot. Exactly what you need if you're hungry and your hktel doesn't have a kitchenette.

It's a typical highway diner. Not a very nice place. The fully tattooed, sweatpants toting server was clearly just going through the motions. Not rude, but not friendly either. The pizza was o.k. but the crust was rather thick and doughy and it only comes in a 12" size so you pretty much have to share. Will avoid stopping here next time. Should've stopped at the Dairy Queen in Clearwater an hour earlier.

The regular stop in blue river was closed due to covid so we didnt have much choice ...The salt shaker was hard as rock couldnt shake it out they need to put some rice in it ...the vinegar was cloudy not clear... Their was an inch of fat on my open face steak sandwich wich was cooked rare perfectly ....great onion rings ... The root beer looked like ice tea and tasted like carbon water no syrup ... It was $112 for the 6 of us to eat me my husband and 4 sons ... Great friendly service ...better then a fast food drive through that would cost us $65to$80 usually . in all not great not bad ....would i eat their again?? If needed ...but i wouldnt go out of my way to return nor will i crave it .

If you are deciding between the grill and the other restaurant I would 100% go here, the food is amazing and not to over priced like the other place. Also the staff is really nice and friendly.

My husband and I ate here last night and we were blown away. I ordered the Spanikopita and he got the California club with the chicken vegetable soup. We were so impressed with the quality of everything on our plates, his soup was packed with vegetables cooked to perfection and his sandwich had a real chicken breast and fresh vegetables. My dish came with delicious rice and potatoes, bread and Greek salad. My pita was flaky and sooo flavourful! I was so full I felt I could not eat more but I still needed to try my bread and I was glad I did because it was heavenly and the embodiment of comfort. If the rest of the menu is as good as what we ordered, this restaurant is a must stop!

Amazing place to stop on our road trip! We were so happy with the high quality, homemade food The Grill serves. I got the soup of the day, which was a yummy split pea and ham soup, and the chicken tenders that were real pieces of chicken that they breaded. So yummy!

|Lively small town restaurant - mix of locals and travelers. My husband and I loved their food 💖 service was awesome! Had the hockey game going so that was nice 🙏 Would definitely go again

I ate the Salmon... Please just don't do that. Salmon was cooked very well done, too much so it was dry. Covered with a sauce! Veggies to go with it were just 2 carrots cut in pieces and a small piece of peperoni. A bug chunk of bread with a little bit of garlic. That's all and I had to pay 20 dollars for this. My recommendation.... Find another place to eat.

Stopped here in the middle of a long road trip. The food was awesome. Prices were good. Highly recommend the greek ribs as well as the pita bread and tzatziki. Will be stopping here again if I pass through Blue River. Staff was great too.

Great pizza! Busy spot and the only one in town, needed 1 more person on staff to make it a 5 star!

Food is very good but takes forever. If you get are in the restaurant at the same time as a tour bus of people, expect to be treated like a second class customer; their tour bus customers are priority to them. Don't go on a Monday or Tuesday, they are usually out of 1/2 their menu (you think they'd order extras ahead of time). It's one of those restaurants where the only reason they are still in business is because they basically have no competition. The food is great though.
